Frequently Asked Questions

Here are the answers to some of the more common questions we receive.  Please feel free to ask us any other questions you might have.

FAQ: Welcome

What is Band Together?

Band Together is an experience you will never forget.  You will learn to play and perform a song, or songs, with your fellow bandmates.  You will be provided with all of the instruments, audio equipment, music producers, music teachers, and Rock and Roll attire that you need to become a real Rock Star.  Depending on the options you choose to go with, you can also record a music video and/or a professional audio recording of your song.  Band Together is an amazing, fun way to spend some time with co-workers, teammates, or group of friends.

Do I need to be able to play an instrument to be part of Band Together?

No musical experience is needed to be able to participate and have a blast.  Our music producers will work with you to learn the basics of an instrument (or simply join in with a maracas or tambourine), or to sing loud (or soft) .  It's not about how great you sound, it's about having a great time with your bandmates.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Yes.  A Rock Star attitude!  Seriously though, you don't need to bring anything.  We supply the instruments, the audio equipment, the Rock and Roll clothing accessories, your printed music, and professional staff to help you Band Together.  We can also provide catering services if you would like to have some food, snacks, or drinks during your session.  We even have rooms for you to step away and deal with business if you are unable to disconnect for the whole session (we have a phone, laptop, printer, and Internet access you can use if needed).

How many people can participate?

We can accommodate groups from 8 to 24 people.  Our Experiences can be as short as 3 & 1/2 hours or as long as a full 8-hour day.  We have pre-built Experiences to choose from and we can always customize a program to meet your specific needs.

Can I bring my own instrument?

Definitely, yes!  Just let us know in advance what instrument(s) you will be bringing and we should be able to accommodate them.  Disclaimer: grand pianos unless you bring a crew to move it :).

What instruments or other band roles can I play?

There are a wide variety of instruments and roles to play in your band.  You can play electric guitar, acoustic guitar, ukulele, bass, drums, keyboard, shakers, cajon, tambourine, lead vocals, backing vocals, group vocals, and more!

Are we able to do work, or have breakout sessions unrelated to the music?

Absolutely.  We understand that, just like the show must go on, business must also go on.  While we do hope that you and your team can disconnect for a few hours and just focus on the fun of being in a band together, we can plan your experience to have breaks where you need them to deal with business issues, or to have breakout sessions for your own team meetings.
